Philosophy
At Cliff Drive Care Center, we support you, as parent or guardian, as primary teachers of your children. We make collaboration and communication with your home a priority, and we hope to be a resource for you by providing parent workshops, parents' night out childcare, and parent education opportunities.
During your child’s time here, we encourage emotional, physical, social, and cognitive growth with curriculum tailored to each stage of development. We believe children operate best within a simple set of guidelines: to take care of others, take care of yourself, and take care of our environment. We work to create a warm and loving environment where children have meaningful relationships with their teachers and peers as teachers assist children in becoming independent and responsible. We promote creativity and kinesthetic learning through playtime activities and through utilizing our outdoor classroom, letting child initiated exploration and curiosity lead the way.
A Program with Christian Values
Cliff Drive Care Center runs an openly Christian program for children. For us, this means, very simply, that children experience the practical and compassionate love of Jesus. We communicate this love through safe relationships with teachers and peers as well as through safe and creative learning environments. We guide children by Christian values: to care for others, to care for yourself, and to care for your environment.
Encouraging spiritual development, at this age, means that we lead children in simple prayers and children’s songs which emphasize God’s love. Weekly chapel exposes the children to basic Bible stories and principles of compassion and love.
At Cliff Drive, we have children from a diverse set of backgrounds and beliefs, and our staff holds a high respect for those beliefs, Christian or otherwise. Our hope is that all would feel welcomed and loved here with the love of Christ.
Why Cliff Drive?
We are a safe place for your child. Our fully licensed care center features a secure campus with regulated adult-child ratios, CPR certified staff, and personal screening.
We offer flexibility and convenience. Located on Cliff Drive in the heart of the Mesa, we are near SBCC and local schools. We offer several enrollment offers ranging from part to full time, 2-5 days per week, and school year or year-round care. We also provide sibling discounts.
We employ experienced and trained staff who enjoy being with children. Our teachers are enthusiastic, loving, and dedicated individuals who are trained in CPR and first aid and resourced with avenues for early childhood educational growth.
We integrate simple Biblical lessons in our weekly chapel that emphasize age appropriate moral growth and character development.
We embrace the arts through music, singing, and hands-on projects which explore creativity and individual expression.
We value health through daily health checks, a daily nap, two nutritious snacks per day, plenty of opportunity for physical, active play.
