Miss Jorja was just with us for a short time but she made a big impact! We are grateful for the ways she just jumped right in, loved the children, and always wanted to learn and grow. She is off to Texas to study education, and we wish her all the be TGIF! We closed out Community Helpers Month with Chito from Bond Fitness! He brought a bunch of exercise equipment and set up an epic obstacle course for us. He definitely made exercising FUN! Skylar Covich was with us on Monday to share about how he reads in braille! He read us some stories and we got to check out the braille books that he brought. We had some special furry friends come for a visit on Friday. We read a book about them, learned how to approach them safely, and how to pet them gently. Last week Santa Barbara Trolley Co took us on a sweet ride around our beautiful neighborhood! On Tuesday Pastor Doug introduced us to a ton of different instruments for a music day! We had a fun morning talking with police officer, Jay, and checking out his vehicle! Today we got to learn about the Santa Barbara bus system with MTD!
